Yes, all policyholders of Cigna España have access, except for dental policies. Those people who only have a dental policy will not have access to the application.

User Registration

You must use your Member Area access codes. To register in the Member Area, enter clientes.cigna.es/cp and follow the steps indicated. You must have your insured number and policy number on hand, which you can find within your insurance documentation or on your Cigna card.
Your access codes for the Cigna Wellbeing App™ are the same as the ones you use to access your Member Area. If you have just registered in the Member Area you must wait at least one hour to access the Cigna Wellbeing App™.

The identification number in Cigna Wellbeing App™ is your ID number, as well as to access your Member Area. This identification number can be saved automatically, but it will be necessary to provide the password every time you log in due to security reasons.

Yes, all dependent family members over age 18 may access the Cigna Wellbeing App™ with their own user, as long as they have previously registered within the Member Area.

The Cigna Wellbeing App™ has been developed by Cigna at a global level, following the highest quality and safety parameters established by the company, and scrupulously complying with current legislation.

Features/Functionalities

Both the application and the video and telephone consultation service are available in English and Spanish.

  • Video and telephone consultation with specialists in general medicine, psychology and nutrition, among others.
  • General health and wellbeing questionnaire, which allows the assessment of health status, providing personalized advice for each case.
  • Specific questionnaires regarding nutrition, physical activity, rest and stress, with specific recommendations for each area.
  • Access to the contents of the Cigna Wellbeing App™ health library, such as articles, recipes or recommendations.
  • Record and track biometric data, such as body weight, heart rate, blood pressure, sleep activity, cholesterol or glucose levels.
  • Access to the chronic patient support program, designed and directed by the medical department of Cigna España.
  • Online coaching programs to encourage the change of habits and the adoption of a healthy lifestyle.

With Cigna Wellbeing App™ you can record your biometric data related to rest, height and weight, blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol level, among others.

This feature is currently under development. We will promptly inform all Cigna Wellbeing App™ users when its use is enabled.

No, they are two different services that Cigna offers for its insured persons, with differentiated features. In the Member Area, our insured persons have access to the management of their Cigna insurance, carrying out the usual procedures related to their policy. For its part, the Cigna Wellbeing App™ facilitates access to clinical services to improve health and wellbeing.

Yes, every hour there is a data synchronization between both platforms.

To register in the App, it is necessary to register in the Member Area.

Health and Wellbeing

Access the ‘Objectives’ tab on the Cigna Wellbeing App™ initial screen, and you will be able to perform both the general health and wellbeing assessment, as well as specific physical activity, nutrition, rest, stress and personality evaluations.

Access the ‘Programs’ tab on the Cigna Wellbeing App™ initial screen, and you will be able to review all available and active online coaching programs, as well as those recommended for you.

To access the chronic patients support program of Cigna España, you must answer the health and wellbeing questionnaire that you will find in the Cigna Wellbeing App™. At the end of the test, indicate that you would like to join the program. The medical team of Cigna España will contact you to study your particular case and develop your personalized program.

Telemedicine

The telemedicine features available in Cigna Wellbeing App™ allow easy, safe and confidential access to health professionals through the mobile phone. Thus, you can schedule your medical appointments and make your consultations at any time, wherever you are, avoiding unnecessary trips.

Cigna provides the telemedicine service in collaboration with Advance Medical, a world leader in medical services, present in more than 125 countries and that in Spain has a team of more than 100 doctors.

Yes, it is totally safe. The Cigna Wellbeing App™ telemedicine service is framed within European regulations for the protection of sensitive personal data, and scrupulously complies with current legislation.

The Cigna Wellbeing App™ video consultation service is available in Spanish and English.

In addition to the assistance and resolution of the medical consultation, Cigna Wellbeing App™, if necessary, allows the prescription of medications and / or diagnostic tests.

To make a video consultation, access the tab ‘Check with your doctor’, and request your appointment by choosing the schedule that best suits your availability, providing the reason for your query. Remember that when it comes to scheduling your appointment it is important that you provide a contact telephone number, including the international country code (in the case of Spain 0034).

The Cigna Wellbeing App™ video consultation service is available from Monday to Saturday, from 08:30 h. at 00: 30h and Sundays, from 9 am at 9 pm. In the case of telephone consultation, the service is available 24 hours a day, every day of the week.

You can schedule a medical appointment through video consultation within two hours from the time of the request.

Yes, it is possible to schedule and cancel medical appointments.

To make a telephone consultation, you just have to leave a phone number and the reason for your query so that the medical team can return the call within 1 hour. Keep in mind that consultations by phone will not be automatically added to the calendar of your mobile device.

No, your consultations will be assisted by the first doctor available, and may vary from one appointment to another. However, all of them will have access to the reports of previous video consultations, thus ensuring the coordination of care.

If necessary, Cigna Wellbeing App™ doctors can prescribe recipes or diagnostic tests.

No, there is no limit to the number of medical appointments you can arrange through the application.

Yes, it is possible to share clinically relevant documents, such as reports or images, with your doctor.

Cigna Wellbeing App™ offers support for non-urgent medical consultations. In case of a medical emergency, please call 112 if you are in Spain, or the number established for that purpose in the country in which you are.
